Moreira Chonguica Invited to Perform at 13th Cape Town International Jazz Festival
Written by: The P.R Team Save to InstapaperAward winning jazz saxophonist, Moreira Chonguica has been invited to perform at the 13th Cape Town International Jazz Festival on Friday, 30 March 2012 taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Moreira will be performing on the main stage, 'Kippies' and will embrace the stage between two top international acts, Grammy nominated Dave Koz and James Ingram.
Comments Moreira: "The Cape Town International Jazz Festival always has an impressive line-up of gifted musicians and I am honoured to be invited back again this year. I think this is an incredible platform that helps to educate and spread the word to the younger generations what jazz is truly all about."
Moreira recently launched his new album entitled "Khanimambo: a Tribute to the Legends of Mozambique" and is currently working on his fourth album with his band, The Moreira Project.
