Mmmmm for Mother’s Day at Hotel Izulu

Hotel Izulu, in Ballito, invites guests to enjoy a true culinary experience on 12 May to celebrate Moms on Mother’s Day from 12:00 onwards in true style. The signature 3-course buffet menu has been created by the new Executive Chef, Tyrone Sumner, at just R180 for adults and R80 for kids. Mothers dining on the day will receive a 20% off voucher for the spa at the hotel.

The Mother’s Day menu will begin with an ‘Antipasti Selection’ including highlights such asParmiggiana di Melanzane – Baked aubergine and mozzarella with tomato and basil, Arancini – deep fried risotto balls with mushrooms and pesto, Caponata – Sicilian aubergine and pepper relish with pinenuts, sultanas and basil, chicken liver and brandy puree marinated olives and peppers and a wide selection of cold meats.

For mains guests can enjoy traditional signature dishes such as roast leg of lamb with mint sauce, roast chicken with lemon and thyme, roast loin of pork with fennel and cider, Rosemary roast potatoes, roast root vegetables, carrot puree, braised cabbage, ratatouille, Yorkshire pudding and bread sauce or apple sauce.
