Luncheons on the Lawn by Relais & Châteaux

For the third year in a row Relais & Châteaux celebrates the return of summer weather. Bright sunshine, deep blue sky and green lawns invite to savour the moment outdoors. Every Saturday and Sunday in June, our hotels and restaurants in France, Switzerland and Liechtenstein offer a revival of the delicious tradition of Luncheons on the Lawn: original picnic baskets full of flavours, put together by our chefs using the produce from their region, offered at a unitary price and free of charge for children.

The best from our culinary heritage to be enjoyed with the family or among friends, in a magic place selected by our hosts, under the open sky, in their parks or gardens or less than 30 minutes from their properties.

Some of the delights offered by the chefs, as a foretaste: Brittany lobster on a beach on Belle-Île en Mer (Relais & Châteaux Castel Clara Thalasso & Spa in Bangor), burger of lavaret by the Lac du Bourget (Relais & Châteaux Ombremont in Le Bourget-du-Lac), Véraz trout in the heart of the nature reserve of the Jura (Relais & Châteaux Jiva Hill Park Hotel in Crozet), champagne and Reims cakes across from the vines (Relais & Châteaux Royal Champagne in Champillon), goat cheese and grilled vegetables by the pond (Relais & Châteaux Domaine des Hauts de Loire in Onzain), meat pie with truffles in the vineyards of Vézelay (Relais & Châteaux L’Espérance in Saint-Père-sous-Vézelay), club sandwich with parsley ham on the mountain of Corton (Relais & Châteaux Hostellerie de Levernois), plate of green vegetables from the kitchen garden on the restanque terraces of Grasse (Relais & Châteaux La Bastide Saint-Antoine), tomatoes, spring lamb meat and melon in a mill overlooking the Mediterranean (Relais & Châteaux Hôtel Villa Belrose in Saint-Tropez), cooked meats and cheese from Corsica in the heart of the maquis of Bonifato (Relais & Châteaux  La Signoria in Calvi)…
