Local gaming content hub gives SA streamers a chance to shine

Johannesburg, 26 July 2021: Esports and gaming content providers Mettlestate are taking local gaming content up a notch with the launch of their Streamer Zone featuring some of South Africa’s top talent, including top streamers: RustyPieLover, AreYouAuthorized, MissLadyJay, Moripe, TechGirlZA, Bumfluffski, Zaffa_Geek, DaddyCoolZA and HenricoM.

The Mettlestate Streamer Zone is an all-South African online space designed exclusively to promote and celebrate local streamers, where South African content creators can find the support they need via a platform that purely promotes their unique attributes as colourful personalities, gaming experts, influencers and the real voices of the local gaming community.

Fans are invited to see which of the top local talents are live, find out more about them and watch them around the clock. Every day a different local streamer is highlighted so that local fans can discover the vast mix of talent South Africa’s esports and content creation community has to offer. Content creators currently streaming are:

RustyPieLover – Ginger Streamer. Professional high-pitched screamer and entertainer extraordinaire! Ready to entertain and bring smiles to faces and laughs to guts!

MissLadyJay – Twitch Partner and streamer for Bravado Gaming. MissLadyJay mainly streams Gwent: The Witcher Card Game competitively during the week. On the weekends, she plays a variety of games such as Dark Souls, The Witcher, Horizon Zero Dawn and many other games. Her streams are very chilled and she responds to almost every message in her chat while playing the game.

Moripe (Tshepang Moripe) – Comes from Ekurhuleni, a place in the east side of Johannesburg, South Africa, from a background where he was heavily involved in sports. He has been playing sports almost religiously since he was a little boy and that's what gave rise to his competitive personality. He always competes to win.

TechGirlZA – Sam "Tech Girl" Wright is an international esports shoutcaster and South African gaming content creator. Her passion is esports and playing Rainbow Six Siege casually.

Bumfluffski – Above average at being average at gaming, sometimes does cool things by complete accident. Some say that by rubbing his head, you can make a wish that would most likely never come true.

Zaffa_Geek – Zaffa_Geek is a full-time variety streamer that has been streaming for about six years, who is heavily focused on his community and helping out fellow streamers where he can, with a bit of an Afrikaans dirty mouth.

HenricoM – Henrico tries to make people happy on the internet with his streams. With a mix of being unapologetically himself and some comedy, he’s sure to be able to make you smile, at least once! He plays a variety of games, mostly FPS, and does a lot of chat segments.
