Thirteen-year-old Stiaan Scheepers had South Africans in awe after a video surfaced of him showing off his immaculate maths skills and opens up on his new-found fame on Jacaranda FM’s Breakfast with Martin Bester.
Stiaan Scheepers, the 13-year-old boy from Rustenburg, showed off his immaculate maths skills on the radio show after recently winning the bronze medal when he was placed third in the 2022 Junior Mental Calculation World Championships held in Bielefeld in Germany recently.
Stiaan, who has been nicknamed as ‘one of the best human calculators in the world’, has an impressive list of accomplishments and a CV that most people would dream of. He became a product of the education franchise A+Students with which he enrolled when he was just three years old. He is also a proud member of MENSA.
The teen, who is currently in Grade 8 at Curro Bloemfontein, also enjoys other activities like chess, tennis, swimming, and CrossFit. He is also currently working on improving his German skills in order to better communicate when he goes overseas.
