The 5-star Hotel Izuluin Ballito is proud to announce the final wine market for 2013 with the award-winning Buitenverwachting on 15 December 2013 from 12h00 at just R200.00 per person with food and wine pairings created by the Executive Chef. The wines are available for purchase at a special reduced price by the bottle and wine chillers are also available at R79 each. During the day guests will be entertained by the band “Afritude’.

The food and wine pairing selection on the day will include Portuguese mussel stew with chilli and coriander paired with Buitenverwachting Blanc de Noir 2013, pan roasted swordfish with lemon and herb roasted baby marrow and toasted almonds paired with Buitenverwachting Sauvignon Blanc 2013 and braised boneless pork neck with roasted apples, wholegrain mustard and mashed potatoes paired with Buitenverwachting Buiten Blanc 2013.

Further options – corn fed baby chicken, beurre blanc and wild rice pilaf paired with Buitenverwachting Merlot 2009 andslow cooked shoulder of lamb with thyme, sweet red onion confit and sauté potato paired with Buitenverwachting Meifort 2009.

A selection of burgers, hot dogs and ice cream cones will also be available for kids.

Also on offer will be Hotel Izulu’s Deli, which offers soup, cheese boards, breads, biscuits and its famous fudge.
