Kurland Hotel Recognised for Culinary Excellence At The 2013 CXPRESS Culinary Awards
Submitted by: The P.R TeamDecember 2013 – On Monday, 2 December, the Relais & Châteaux, 5-star, Kurland Hotel, situated in The Crags near Plettenberg Bay, was once again honoured at the CXPRESS Garden Route Culinary Awards for its outstanding cuisine at the Kurland Restaurant headed up by Executive Chef, Leon Coetzee.
Kurland was named as one of the Top 20 Culinary Destinations on the Garden Route, won an award for Best Service in the ‘Best of Plaque’ category and Executive Chef, Leon Coetzee, was named the Gastro Nomix Chef of the Year.
Owner of Kurland Hotel, Peter Behr says: “We are extremely happy to have received these awards, which form part of Kurland’s history, and we are looking forward to inviting guests to enjoy The Kurland Restaurant and Katarina’s Bistro, both of which form part of the new culinary experiences at the Hotel.”
