Rand Show 2026 Brings Five Days Of Music Family Fun And Immersive Experiences To Johannesburg

The Rand Show is set to transform Johannesburg into a full-scale entertainment festival this Easter weekend, with five days of live music, family attractions, and interactive experiences at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, from 2 to 6 April 2026.

Open daily from 09:00 to 19:00, the event is designed to offer a complete day out, with a wide range of entertainment included in the ticket price across both indoor halls and outdoor zones.

A Festival Designed For Participation And Experience

Modern audiences are increasingly looking for experiences they can engage with, and the Rand Show 2026 has been structured around this shift. Visitors can expect interactive attractions, live performances, and immersive environments that go beyond passive entertainment.

A major highlight this year is Jungle Magic, a fully immersive jungle-themed experience that transforms an entire hall into a sensory adventure. Featuring bold visuals, jungle soundscapes, large-scale creatures, an indoor waterfall feature, and a hands-on “brave zone” for children, the attraction is included in the standard ticket price.

The Rand Show Music Festival will run throughout the event, featuring a lineup of well-known South African artists. Highlights include:

  • Thursday 2 April: JazziQ and Mr Keyz
  • Friday 3 April: Nkosazana Daughter, OVERJOY, and Mr Keyz
  • Saturday 4 April: Morda, Soweto’s Finest, and Mr Keyz

Families are a central focus of the event, with Hall 8 hosting a Kids Zone featuring daily shows such as Dienkie and Doodles, as well as Freddy the Frog and Ivy’s Wild Adventure.

Additional attractions include motorsport drifting and spinning displays, marching band performances, and Big Bounce — a large inflatable adventure space included at no extra cost.

Affordable Entry And Special Offers

Visitors can take advantage of Throwback Thursday on 2 April, with entry tickets priced at R50 for all ages. Additional promotions on food, parking, and theme park access will also be available on the opening day.
