EASTGATE SHOPPING CENTRE'S FESTIVE ACTIVITIES 

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, December 2014 

Enjoy late night shopping at Eastgate Shopping Centre and participate in a variety of festive activities.                          

Jump in and join the fun with Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Diego and Boots from the 16th to the 30th December, in the Strelitzia court, with meet and greets and four daily spectacular shows.  Meet your favourite character, and have your photo taken for charity. 

Take advantage of Eastgate Shopping Centre’s Festive Season Trading Hours from the 5th December: Mondays to Saturdays from 9am to 9pm, Sundays and 24th December from 9am to 6pm, the 26th December from 9am to 5pm.  Both the 25th December and 1st January 2015 are optional trading.   

To inspire a little festive spirit, the Salvation Army will be performing Christmas Carols from the 12th to the 24th December.  Plus, have your ‘photo taken with Santa’ in the Strelitzia Court from the 5th to the 24th December.  

For our shoppers’ convenience, we will have three Charity Gift Wrapping Stations.  All proceeds will go to the Edu-Care Foundation which isan educational organisation providing essential school equipment to the underprivileged and vulnerable children in their communities.
