Celebrations At Hotel Izulu On Father’s Day

May 2013 – The 5-star Hotel Izulu, Ballito, invites guests to celebrate their Dads on Father’s Day, 16 June, from 12:00 with a delicious braai menu created by new Executive Chef, Tyrone Sumner, at just R180 per person and R80 for kids under 12.

For starters guests can enjoy curried bean salad with poppadoms, grilled sardines with green pepper, onion, garlic and parsley, butternut, beetroot and feta salad with rocket and cashew nuts and ‘Tagliata’ – rare grilled ribeye salad with new potatoes, rocket, balsamic and tarragon.

Mains will include grilled swordfish steaks with lemon, garlic and oregano, skewered prawns with garlic, lemon butter, grilled lamb sosaties with red onions, peppers and Rosemary, grilled chicken peri-peri, grilled boerewors and sirloin steak and oxtail potjie.  Also on offer will be kummel pap with tomato and onion sauce, potato bake, sweet corn, garlic bread, Greek salad, couscous salad and other condiments

Families will be able to end off the bountiful braai with desserts milk tart, malva pudding with Crème Anglaise and a selection of South African cheeses and preserves
