Coca-Cola recently launched its new juice brand in South Africa, Cappy, a 100% fruit juice with a wide variety of flavours and pack sizes. Giving you lots of choice for any breakfast moment, Cappy comes in a wide spectrum of tasty flavours from, Breakfast Blend, Tropical, Orange Mango, Apple, Orange andGrape. Three of these flavours are available in 1.5L PET to create the perfect family sharing breakfast occasion at home. Cappy will be breaking the world Guinness world record for most people eating breakfast in bed.
As it stands the world record for most people eating breakfast in bed is 418 and was achieved by Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel (China), in Langfang, Hebei, China on 16 August 2015. Cappy has taken the challenge to beat this world record on 30 March 2019 with the help of everyone bringing whoever they regard as family with them on that morning.
The Cappy event will take place on 30th March 2019 at The Sheds, 1 fox Street and starts at 09h00 – 12h00 pm. Everyone who will attend the event needs to be registered on the link provided below.
Cappy will also e donate all 400 beds used on the day to different charities in Johannesburg.
Consumer Involvement
The general public can enter by sending us a photo of their “family or Cappy crew” along with a bit of a write up of who this family is.
The family can consist of 2 parents and their kids, partners, friends that are family. Anything goes! People will then book a bed for them and their family by sending us their names and ID numbers. As guests arrive their family names will be printed on the bed board along with the bed number.
