Trellidor supports Highway Hospice with security donation worth R58,000
Durban, South Africa – 16 April 2026 - Trellidor reinforces its commitment to community care and upliftment through meaningful partnership with one of Durban’s most respected hospice non-profit charities.
Trellidor, a leader in innovative security solutions, has proudly sponsored four security units to the total value of R58,000 to Highway Hospice, supporting the non-profit’s vital work within the community.
Damian Judge, Sales and Marketing Executive says: “This contribution forms part of Trellidor’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities it serves. By partnering with organisations like Highway Hospice, we continue to align our efforts with values of care, dignity, and lasting impact.”
Supporting Community Healthcare
Highway Hospice, one of Durban’s oldest hospices, has been providing compassionate care to patients and families across eThekwini since 1982. Their services extend across a wide area, supported by a dedicated team of nurses who conduct home visits, offering both medical and emotional support to patients and their loved ones during challenging times.
The donation of Trellidor security units will play a key role in enhancing the safety and operational efficiency at Highway Hospice, ensuring that essential equipment, medical supplies, and sensitive patient information are securely protected.
Strengthening Safety and Operations
John Olds, CEO and Head of Fundraising at Highway Hospice, expressed his gratitude: “We have been helping the patients and families of eThekwini since 1982. We cover over 2,000 square kilometres of Durban, with a team of nurses who conduct home visits, supporting both patients and their families through their journey.
We are so grateful to Trellidor for helping us with doors. It keeps our team safe, as well as our personal medical files, tools, and medical equipment, just about everything we use to run the organisation. Everything we need is now behind the strong, secure doors of Trellidor. We truly appreciate the support and hope we can be there if ever your loved ones need our care.”
Through this sponsorship, Trellidor contributes directly to enhancing the quality of care and support provided to patients and their families, while also strengthening the infrastructure that enables Highway Hospice to continue its essential work.
Trellidor remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that uplift communities and provide compassionate care where it is needed most.
ENDS.
