Netsurit earns Third Microsoft Advanced Specialisation
Written by: Maria Joubert Save to InstapaperJOHANNESBURG, 8 June 2021 – Netsurit, a managed service provider (MSP) industry leader, is pleased to announce that the company has earned its third Microsoft Advanced Specialisation in Identity and Access Management – only given to a small number of partners who have proven advanced expertise and experience with latest generation solutions who demonstrate deep knowledge and proven experience deploying Microsoft Identity workloads with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
Based on Netsurit’s experience and deep knowledge of the Microsoft identity and security solutions, the company has developed offerings specifically targeted at securing Microsoft 365, Azure and related services. As part of these offerings, Netsurit assesses an environment to detect risks, develop roadmaps for phased optimization then implement comprehensive identity, access management and security solutions and enable effective long-term operations. The company further assists with integrating identities between business systems and implementing identity lifecycle management to ensure the accuracy of user information used for business processes. In these solutions, Netsurit makes extensive use of Azure Active Directory, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and other advanced security services from Microsoft, as they believe that the Microsoft identity and security technologies are not only extremely capable as individual services, but that the real value comes from the tight integration between the various services which provides end-to-end visibility and protection across all the parts of a customer environment.
Netsurit Microsoft competencies
- Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop Advanced Specialisation
- Threat Protection Advanced Specialisation
- Identity and Access Management Advances Specialisation
Netsurit has had extensive experience in the field of identity and access management since 1999. The company has frequently collaborated with Microsoft on development of best practices and standards for identity and access management and became an early believer in the concept that identity is the basis of security. To this point, Netsurit has built the concept into their standard methodology for all infrastructure implementation projects. Since 2014 the company has been implementing Microsoft Azure Active Directory and associated security services in the Microsoft 365 suite to several large and security-conscious organizations in the Financial Services sector in South Africa. Through this approach, it allowed the company an opportunity to develop specialist skills in these products, which could then be applied to projects for all other customers, large and small.
Hud Krause, Professional Services Executive at Netsurit, commented, “This latest specialisation is really just a validation of the work we have been doing for a long time already. We have a deep understanding of the Zero Trust framework that Microsoft 365 is built on. As there are continuous increases in identity related attacks, customers are looking for partners that can help them to pro-actively monitor and protect their digital estate and footprint. This specialisation helps customers to identify partners like Netsurit that have the technical capability and proven track record in deploying Microsoft Identity workloads with Azure AD”
