Hägglunds Drives South Africa, a leading provider of direct drive systems and hydraulic motor technology, recently participated in the Botswana Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) from 4 to 8 March. The exhibitions took place in Letlhakane, Palapye and Jwaneng.

Setting objectives and achieving success

The Demo Unit of the company’s drive technology displayed variable speed control at full torque across all speeds, offering efficient and precise control for critical processes. Their simplified high torque direct drive solutions, without gear reductions, target challenges in Botswana's mining and power generation sectors, positioning them for Industry 4.0 readiness. These advancements promise enhanced operational efficiency and competitiveness for industries adopting them.
