Driven by the increase in demand for its hydraulic, pneumatic and automation solutions, Bosch Rexroth Africa will be expanding its presence to Côte d'Ivoire, also known as Ivory Coast, with a new branch, which will be operational from June 2024.
To serve the needs of mining, industrial, and energy industries in Côte d'Ivoire, the branch will offer the full range of Bosch Rexroth Africa Group products and services. This includes sales, training, service work, hose and fittings workshops, and consignment stock of filters at project sites.
Côte d'Ivoire’s dynamic economy, coupled with ongoing infrastructure developments and increased mining, positions it as a key market for Bosch Rexroth Africa. “With a robust economy and a forecasted annual GDP growth of 7%, Côte d'Ivoire presents substantial opportunities for growth and innovation. By establishing a local presence, we look forward to delivering our leading cuttingedge solutions,” comments Alex Booth, Bosch Rexroth Ghana General Manager.
The branch will contribute positively to the local economy and community, with a commitment from Bosch Rexroth Africa to local upskilling and employment. “Through local employees, resources and services, we will ensure a direct impact on the community and a seamless integration into the local business ecosystem,” says Booth.
Chris Riley, Bosch Rexroth Africa Regional President and Bosch Rexroth South Africa CEO, as well as Booth, will serve as Branch Directors. Kenneth Amoo, Bosch Rexroth Ghana Admin Manager, will serve as the Country Manager for the branch.
Bosch Rexroth Africa has over 35 branches and more than 20 distributors in the African continent to serve customers across sub-Saharan Africa. The Côte d'Ivoire branch will mark the 8th African country in which the Group has a presence.
