Prosper Drives Success In Aid Of The Father’s Heart
Submitted by: Zané NeethlingRecently, Just Property Prosper hosted its 8th annual fundraising golf day, marking the first-ever collaboration with The Father's Heart Community Project. The day was filled with excitement, skilful shots, and a shared commitment to making a positive impact.
Held at the prestigious Durbanville Golf Club, the event not only showcased the competitive spirit of golf enthusiasts but also served as a powerful fundraiser, generating R131 082 for The Father's Heart Community Development's crucial initiatives with orphans and vulnerable children in the Fisantekraal community!
The organisation's work deeply moved the three brothers behind Just Property Prosper, Pieter, Johannes, and Hendrik van den Berg. Earlier this year, they reached out to strategise on how their annual Corporate Golf Day could be a catalyst for raising funds and awareness for The Father's Heart Community Development. The collaboration between Just Property Prosper and The Father's Heart was forged through a shared commitment to making a positive impact.
The Golf Day brought together golf enthusiasts, renewable energy partners, local businesses, and community members for a day filled with camaraderie and exceptional golf. Against the backdrop of the picturesque Durbanville Golf Course, participants enjoyed a challenging course and various opportunities to contribute to a worthy cause. The tournament witnessed outstanding performances, with Jonathan Kotze stealing the spotlight by shooting an impressive 67 gross. His exceptional skills showcased the competitive spirit that ran high throughout the day.
Just Property Prosper took centre stage as the main sponsor, with Mlima, IMPower, Just Property Head Office, Mortgage Max, Dynamic Bridging, PayProp, Bottelary Motors, GR8 investments, Servaas De Kock, Schmidhauser, SA Fincorp, Plus OP Accounting sponsoring additional balls, prizes, complimentary wet holes, welcome drinks, and extra donations at the auction! Their financial contributions and prize donations played a crucial role in making the event a resounding success.
The event also had the privilege of hosting PG Engelbrecht as the Master of Ceremonies and Vernon Philander, former Protea Cricketer, adding a touch of celebrity flair to the occasion. PG, who was also our auctioneer for the evening, infused the event with fun entertainment! The auction, a highlight of the evening, featured unique items, including a statue donated to The Father's Heart by the world-renowned artist Marco Olivier, a staunch supporter of the organisation's life-changing work.
The overwhelming support from local businesses and individuals underscored a deep dedication to The Father's Heart Community Development's mission. To our sponsors, Mlima, Solar MD, Taurus Medical, IMPower, Belair Pavilion, STBB Bellville, GolfPlayed, and the Just Property Prosper clients and staff members - thank you for coming together in a harmonious blend of philanthropy and sportsmanship.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all sponsors, participants, and contributors for their generosity, ensuring the continuation of The Father's Heart's critical work within the community. The 8th annual golf day was a celebration of skill and camaraderie and a testament to the power of collective effort in making a meaningful difference. Just Property Prosper looks forward to building on this success and creating even more impactful moments in the years to come.
As the sun set on the Durbanville Golf Course, it was not just the echoes of well-played strokes but the reverberations of a community coming together for a cause that echoed through the greens—a reminder of the enduring impact that collaboration and compassion can achieve.
