Tetley Celebrates Diwali With Giveaways and Recipes From Local Foodie

The Festival of Lights, or Diwali, is a time of joy, good food, and togetherness. To mark this year’s celebration, Tetley has partnered with food influencer Priyanka Chanderdeo to share her favourite Chai-infused recipes.

“Diwali is an important celebration for so many South Africans, and we want to contribute towards this joyful occasion by sharing our favourite Chai recipes,” said Candice Sessions, Tetley Marketing Manager. “We would like to wish everyone celebrating a blessed Diwali.”

Celebrating Tradition with Chai Recipes

Priyanka Chanderdeo (@inspiredbyprisfood on Instagram and TikTok) recalls fond memories of Diwali preparations and the joy of family gatherings. She adds that her first taste of Chai in India sparked her love for the drink, which perfectly embodies the warmth of Diwali. “I’m thrilled to share my favourite Tetley Chai-inspired recipes with everyone,” she said.

Tetley Chai Kulfi and Chai Cupcakes are just two of the recipes inspired by Tetley Masala Chai. Each recipe features rich spices that bring out the comforting flavours associated with the festival.
