Crocworld Conservation Centre is proud to announce that its on-site restaurant, Fish Eagle Café, has been awarded the illustrious Recommendation Badge by Restaurant Guru - one of the world’s most renowned foodie platforms with over 30 million monthly users.
“We are honoured to receive the Best Cafeteria in Scottburgh badge from Restaurant Guru,” said Morne van Zyl, Executive Chef and Manager of Fish Eagle Café. “This award is a testament to the dedication and passion of our team, who are committed to providing a memorable dining experience for our guests.”
The Restaurant Guru Awards celebrate outstanding restaurants worldwide based on customer reviews and ratings. Winners are selected based on food quality, service excellence, ambiance, and overall customer satisfaction. This recognition offers international credibility, increased visibility, and the exclusive use of the Restaurant Guru Awards logo for promotional purposes.
Under the management of JSE-registered Crookes Brothers South Africa Pty Ltd, Fish Eagle Café offers a unique dining experience with stunning ocean views from its wraparound deck. During the cooler months, patrons can often spot migrating humpback whales or Sardine Run activity from the deck.
The menu is carefully crafted by Chef Morne van Zyl, whose decades of culinary expertise have seen him cater for high-profile dignitaries, including former South African presidents Thabo Mbeki and Nelson Mandela, as well as the Royal Bafokeng Nation’s 2010 enthronement attended by 11 000 delegates. More recently, Morne and his team also catered for a royal wedding where His Majesty King Letsie III and Her Majesty Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso were the guests of honour.
Visitors to Fish Eagle Café can look forward to freshly prepared dishes for all ages, refreshing drinks, and indulgent treats. Plus, this holiday season, every Slush Puppy purchase comes with a complimentary marshmallow Easter egg!
