Daybreak Foods Settles Outstanding Disputes
Submitted by: Elsabe BooyensJohannesburg, 02 June 2024: Daybreak Foods’ contribution to its employees and communities and food security of South African citizens had been marred by ongoing executive and whistle blower disputes since May 2021, followed by removal of the board of directors in August 2022 by the shareholder.
Daybreak Foods is pleased to confirm that with effect from 1 June 2024, it has resolved all historical executive and the whistle blower litigation.
The CEO can now renew the focus on restoring Daybreak as a credible and ethical poultry sector participant and responsible corporate citizen.
