Simply, apply No.3 to clean, towel-dried hair. For best results: if you have any build-up such as oils or silicones in your hair then, first shampoo and towel dry your hair before applying No.3. Apply only a generous amount to your towel-dried hair and comb through. Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes. The longer it's on, the more effective it is. Then rinse, shampoo and condition.                             

Although the No.3 treatment appears creamy, it is not a conditioner or moisturiser. You need to continue washing your hair with a salon quality shampoo and conditioner after using it. Then apply a salon quality moisturiser after every wash. Your hair needs to be moisturised in order to look and feel hydrated and lively. Keep in mind that OLAPLEX is a hair reparative treatment and not a lightening or colouring agent.
