Fresh Air for Everyone – with Geberit DuoFresh odour extraction unit
Written by: Jodi Lynn Save to Instapaper
Second in the bathroom – tough luck! Not anymore, with Geberit’s DuoFresh unit which extracts the smell straight from the toilet bowl.
Geberit takes design and innovation beyond the surface with the DuoFresh and its exceptional functionality. After all, your bathroom is an oasis of well-being that you want to enjoy with all your senses, at all times. Plus, you won’t need to clutter the space with aerosols or chop into the wall to install an external extraction unit.
Geberit DuoFresh brings a whole new freshness to the bathroom as it extracts nasty odours from the bathroom without you even knowing it is there, as it’s cleverly concealed within the cistern behind the wall. Even a bathroom that is poorly ventilated will be left with pure fresh air, as active carbon filters clean the air and resupply it to the room. Rather than simply masking an odour with air freshener, any lingering unpleasant smells are dealt with directly in the toilet bowl, where clean air is gently expelled as soon as the push-button on the flush plate is activated.
The energy-saving odour extraction unit is activated by a touch of the button located on the upper edge of the Sigma40 flush plate and switches off automatically after 10 minutes or you can switch it off yourself. The unit boasts an LED display which indicates when the carbon filter needs to be changed.
The Geberit DuoFresh is uniquely simple, removing the unpleasant odours directly from the source. It is easy to install and as with all Geberit cisterns, is compatible with a wide selection of wall hung ceramic toilet bowls, giving you the creative freedom to design a bathroom to suit your personal taste.
