Atlanta Robertson aka DJ Atlanta (or ATL) is a new guard of female DJ that is taking her turn behind the hip hop dance scene in a big way
South African born self taught DJ and Artist Atlanta Robertson (aka DJ Atlanta OR ATL) has been generating hype with versatile playlists for quite a while now! From House to Hip Hop she believes being versatile is a huge win in this game.
Being a female in a predominantly male dominated industry, and now being one of very few females in the scene that mixes Hip hop & Rnb perfectly without a laptop, she is not only ready to crush the stereotype, but also inspire others to do the same. Did we mention that Atlanta also loves to play Amapiano as seen on her socials?
To gain recognition and respect in this industry Atlanta states "Do it for the music .. because it's something that you truly love not for fame or money" asking how one stands out as a female in this industry Atlanta says "Be reliable, professional, and accountable. Support your fellow DJs and artists all the way, it's when we stand together regardless of our gender race or religion for the shared love of music we create magic"
DJ Atlanta (ATL) is an SA based artist who has played alongside big stars, on big lineup's and has opened many VIP events all over the country. Atlanta also has a new alias (ATL) where she will focus solely on underground electronic dance music such as dub tech/techno.
