Sustainable Ceder Expands Regional Impact with New Vehicle Funded by the National Lotteries Commission

Cederberg, South Africa - Sustainable Ceder is incredibly pleased and deeply  grateful to announce the acquisition of a new project vehicle, made possible through  the generous funding and support of the National Lotteries Commission (NLC). 

Operating in the heart of the Cederberg means facing unique logistical challenges.  The region’s famously rugged terrain, gravel mountain passes, and isolated  communities require robust, reliable transport. The addition of this dedicated double cab bakkie is a transformative step forward for our operational capacity. 

With its off-road capabilities and loading capacity, the bakkie will be utilized to  transport essential farming tools, seeds, and saplings directly to our conservation  and agricultural sites. Furthermore, it will secure safe, dependable transport for our team during routine community visits, ensuring that our outreach programs remain  consistent and accessible to all residents, no matter how remote.
