The 6th Annual Water Stewardship Event will take place virtually on Tuesday, 17th November 2020.“Good governance for green recovery – stewardship in a post-Covid water sector” is the topic for this year’s by-invitation-only event, which brings together representatives from government, industry, civil society, and development partners to explore how investments in South Africa’s water sector can be leveraged to generate sustained economic growth, employment, and wellbeing.
The event will unpack what achieving robust governance for sustainable recovery entails while simultaneously unpacking the water investments urgently needed to support a post-COVID 19 green recovery. In two consecutive sessions, representatives from the government, private sector, and civil society will debate these important topics and offer different perspectives on implementing solutions.The conference will be held online.
