School Partnership Project "Bremen meets Soweto" Visits the SA Embassy

Within the framework of the partnership between Schulzentrum Blumental and Orlando Secondary High School, a group of eight highly inspired youth from Soweto, visited their home away from home, the South African Embassy in Berlin on Wednesday, 24 May.
Having been to Cologne, Bremen and Dortmund, the students and their teachers told Ambassador P.S. Sizani about their interests, aims, activities, inspirational workshops and their warm reception by their German host families. Marion Kowal, desk officer at Koordinationsstelle Fanprojekte (Coordination of Fan Projects), Deutsche Sportjugend (German Sports Youth), who initiated the project, and Jude Capel, Learning Centre Manager at Orlando Pirates informed Ambassador P.S. Sizani about the beginnings of their partnership in 2016 as well as forthcoming activities such as the next visit in 2018.
