Minister Radebe to host a service delivery Imbizo in Ntwane village

Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will host a service delivery Imbizo in Ntwane Village, Sekhukhune District Municipality in Limpopo Province.
Minister Radebe conducted a Frontline Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) visit in Dennilton on 25 August 2017 to the local St Joseph High School, Philadelphia Hospital and Dennilton Police Station to catalyse service delivery improvements and highlight the importance of monitoring to sector departments. The programme seeks to instill a culture of self-monitoring in these sector departments so that improvements to the quality of service delivery is realised, with an overall aim of advancing planning, accountability, responsibility and reporting through monitoring.
The Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) in collaboration with the offices of the Premier has been monitoring public service facilities through both unannounced visits and improvements monitoring meetings since 2011.
The Minister will be joined by the Premier of Limpopo, MEC’s, District Mayor of Sekhukhune District Municipality, Mayor of Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality, councillors and representatives from the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) at the Imbizo and they will galvanise active participation of citizens in the implementation of the National Development Plan (NDP) as a roadmap towards radical socioeconomic transformation and social cohesion.
