Junior Mining Indaba - Webber Wentzel Spokespeople
Submitted by: MyPressportal Team Save to InstapaperJunior Mining Indaba is kicking off tomorrow from 7 – 8 June 2017 and Webber Wentzel’s mining team will be on the ground if you need any insight on developments at the Indaba.
We suspect that the event will be wholly dominated by key issues around the Mining Charter relating to the timing of it, lack of consultation with industry, potential further "taxes" on the industry and the impact of the Mining Charter on various aspects of the industry. Further topics for debate may even include the Zwane / Gupta emails in addition to the investment drought in South Africa, to name a few.
The following members of Webber Wentzel’s mining team will be in attendance:
- Bruce Dickinson, Partner and Head of Mining Sector Group
- Jonathan Veeran Partner and Deputy Head of Mining Sector Group
- Manus Booysen, Partner
- Rita Spalding, Partner
- Eugene Phajane, Partner
