Dock Seals and Shelters – Preserve the cold chain
Written by: MyPressportal Team Save to InstapaperStab-A-Load supply the total solution as far as dock sealing systems are concerned. The seal between the truck trailer and building is paramount in preserving the cold chain at the dock face. Our range of seals include conventional dock pad seals, rigid dock shelters, collapsible impact dock shelters( Kelley Flex Frame), foam sided dock shelters( Kelley FSR 1000) and a wide range of leading inflatable dock shelters and seals. We compliment our imported range of seals with locally manufactured solutions, to ensure all our customers benefit from these sought after product sets.
Stab-A-Load launched, the locally produced Foam Sided Shelter, called the “FSL100” in April 2016. The FSL 100 is produced from high quality vinyl material, which is robust and capable of handling the harsh South African logistics environment. The FSL 100 design concept was introduced to offer clients a high quality cost effective sealing solution, whilst countering cheap imported seals which are being dumped by European and American companies in Africa. The FSL 100 structure is manufactured from high grade, galvanised steel as the frame structure. This provides superior strength to the support frame and building structure, whilst the hyper vinyl material offers sound wear properties, and excellent markings to guide truck drivers into position. The right sealing solution for your loading dock.
From humble beginnings as a small service company started in 1990, Stab-A-Load soon progressed to develop their first lift table and then their first dock leveller within the next year. As the business expanded under owner Doug Le Roux’s vision and strategy, Stab-A-Load then moved to larger premises in order to meet growing demand.
Stab-A-Load supplies Dock Levelers, Dock Seals and Shelters, Associated Dock Products, Lift Tables/Scissor Lifts/Loadeks, Sectional Doors, High Speed Doors, Fire Doors, Butzbach Stacking & Hangar Doors, Hydro-Tilt Hydraulic Doors And Walls, Goods Hoists/Dumbweightors/Lifts, Bug And Bird Screen Doors, Pallet Invertors.
Stab-a-Load has recently acquired new offices, workshop and manufacturing facilities in Pinetown Kwa Zulu Natal. The new facility is almost 2.5 times larger than its existing facility which was based in Westmead. We at Stab-a-Load are very excited with the move which will see our KZN branch move into the manufacturing area supplying sectional doors, dock levelers and associated materials handling equipment to the KZN market, Swaziland and Lesotho.
The growth in the KZN market has been exponential for Stab-a-Load over the past 5 years and therefore we decided to expand our operations even further in the region allowing us to get even closer to our existing and prospective client base.
