Johannesburg, South Africa – The South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) proudly announces the 12th Annual Tax Indaba, taking place from 11–13 August 2025 at the Radisson Blu OR Tambo, Johannesburg.
Now in its twelfth year, the Indaba has become South Africa’s leading tax event, bringing together the broadest network of tax professionals for a bold, future-focused conversation.
More than 400 delegates will attend this premier gathering, in-person and online, including corporate tax teams, legal practitioners, academic experts, government leaders, and advisory professionals.
WHAT’S NEW IN 2025?
Each day has a distinct theme:
Day 1: Domestic & International Tax Trends
A deep dive into South Africa’s evolving tax landscape and global shifts affecting policy and business.
Day 2: Business Dialogues + Gala Evening
Sector-specific sessions for corporates and SMEs, concluding with a black-tie gala featuring red carpet access for selected media.
Day 3: Compliance, Controversy & Cross-Border Summit
Sessions on tax enforcement and dispute resolution alongside the inaugural Cross-Border & Transfer Pricing Summit.
WHY ATTEND IN PERSON?
In-person attendance offers exclusive access to ideas, expertise, and networks shaping the future of tax in South Africa.
Attendees will network with peers and thought leaders, participate in live panels with Q&A, raise critical issues, and engage in real-time policy dialogue.
Each day awards 8 CPD points (24 total for full attendance). Early Bird pricing ends 16 June 2025, with group discounts available.
MEDIA AND SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
SAIT invites media houses, broadcasters, content creators, and sponsors to partner in shaping the national tax conversation.

The South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) is the only professional body in South Africa focused exclusively on taxation. As a recognised controlling body under SARS, SAIT regulates tax practitioners and promotes tax as a distinct profession. It represents more SARS-registered tax practitioners than any other body. SAIT supports its members through webinars, publications, research tools, and professional indemnity insurance. It also facilitates engagement between tax practitioners, National Treasury, and SARS on key policy and operational matters.
