Hosted under the inspiring theme, "The Legacy We Inherit, The Future We Create," this year's Gala Dinner marks an important milestone in the platform's journey of bringing women together, uplifting female led institutions and businesses , and contributing to shaping communities and celebrating African continent.
Founded by award-winning public relations practitioner Loraine MaKhumalo Sibanda, The Remarkable Woman has evolved into a respected platform dedicated to recognising women of influence. This year's celebration will also see the official launch of The Legacy Circle. This is an exclusive network bringing together Remarkable Woman Honourees.
The Legacy Circle has been established to ensure that recognition extends beyond one evening by creating a lifelong community centred on mentorship, collaboration, leadership and collective impact.
Past honourees and the platform's growth
Over the past ten years, The Remarkable Woman has welcomed an inspiring line-up of accomplished women and influential personalities who have contributed to the platform's growth and credibility. Previous editions have featured and celebrated distinguished guests including acclaimed singer Amanda Black, award-winning actor Phelo Bhala, actor Stevel Marc, media personality Weza Solange, businesswoman Thandy Matlaila, Advocate Ntombizodwa Sibanda, internationally renowned life coach Yvette Aloe, and award-winning agripreneur Pamela Msipa, among many other remarkable leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers from across Southern Africa.

Founder reflection and the second decade
"Celebrating ten years is about more than looking back. It's about honouring every woman whose journey has inspired others while intentionally building a legacy for those still to come," says Loraine MaKhumalo Sibanda, Founder of The Remarkable Woman.

The 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner will bring together leaders from business, entrepreneurship, media, civil society and the creative industries for an evening of celebration, networking, storytelling.
This will be the first and official formal induction of the 2026 Remarkable Woman Honourees into The Legacy Circle.
As The Remarkable Woman enters its second decade, the platform remains committed to recognising excellence, preserving women's stories and creating opportunities that empower future generations of African women to lead with purpose.
