Clarins Celebrates Partnership with Save the Children South Africa at Hyde Park Corner
Submitted by: Annie HodesClarins has collaborated with Save the Children South Africa supporting childhood nutrition and Early Childhood Care and Development Centres with a unique Clarins Carousel Pop-Up inside Woolworths Hyde Park Corner.
“For 70 years, Clarins has been dedicated to genuine and natural beauty. For Clarins, beauty is meaningless without humanity, generosity, and openness to others. Our CSR strategy is intertwined with our corporate strategy, driving the Clarins We Care approach. We aim to be exemplary for our customers, our society, and our planet,” said Isabel Martins, CEO of Clarins South Africa.
“Clarins has a longstanding commitment to supporting children worldwide and contributing to a fairer and more united future. Through previous charity partnerships, Clarins has funded over 41 million school meals since 2011. In South Africa, we wanted to find a local cause to support, and Save the Children South Africa was the perfect fit.”
Says Gugu Xaba, CEO of Save the Children South Africa: “Clarins’ brand foundation of Innovation, Trust, and Care resonates deeply with us, as Clarins extends these values to Save the Children. Clarins innovates for children as we work together for safer water and access to 40 early childhood development centres across the country.” Through this partnership, Clarins has contributed towards 82 000 meals for children, the training of 94 practitioners and principals on healthy nutrition guidelines, establishment of 16 vegetable gardens and the installation of 1000 litre water tanks.
The Clarins “Gift with Purchase” promotion runs at Woolworths Hyde Park Corner until July 14. During this period, customers can receive an exclusive complimentary beauty tote featuring the tagline “LOVE,” filled with their favourite Clarins products. For every bag taken home, Clarins supports the Save the Children Early Development Centre by building gardens and training practitioners to provide nourishment for children.
