LadyBugz Academy launches AI coaches that will not write your LinkedIn posts
Roodepoort, South Africa. Plenty of AI tools will now write a LinkedIn post for you. LadyBugz Marketing has opened LadyBugz Academy at ladybugz.academy with AI coaches that teach people to write their own posts well, so they get better at showing up as a leader in their field.
Members start with two of the six coaches, the Personal Brand Copywriter and the Content Performance Coach. They write a post, see where every mark came from, then make it stronger. The first step is an R95 scan. It asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, AI tools that answer questions in full sentences, to find the member's LinkedIn profile and to say who the people to know are in the member's field.
The Academy is built around one person. A photographer who works from a Gmail address and has no website can use it. So can a salesperson whose employer owns the company page, a founder or somebody in marketing.
Coaches that will not write it for you
The six coaches share one rule. They never write anything for the member. The member writes in their own words, the coach scores it, shows where the marks came from and asks the questions that lead to a sharper version. Then the member writes it again.
Between them, the coaches cover the member's LinkedIn profile, posts and comments, and each plan includes 100 coaching rounds a month.
"I've been on LinkedIn since 2009, and I've watched a lot of good people buy a template that works for three months and then stops. I didn't want to sell another one. We tell our clients not to let AI write their posts, so our coaches won't either. They'll mark your work and send you back to do it again. That's irritating on day one. By month three it's the reason you're better," says Noleen Thompson, Managing Director and Founder of LadyBugz Marketing.
The reference you never hear
Asking an AI tool is quicker than reading ten search results, so some people now do it before they get in touch with someone. They type something like "who is good at brand photography in Durban?" and get back a short paragraph with a few names in it. The people being discussed never see the question.
LadyBugz has seen this from the receiving end. Between late September and early October 2026, four people contacted the agency after an AI tool pointed them to it. One of them had asked ChatGPT who would be good to contact about LinkedIn.
Getting found and named by AI tools, and described correctly when they do mention you, is called answer engine optimisation (AEO). Most of the AEO work LadyBugz sees is aimed at company websites. The Academy applies it to one person and their LinkedIn profile.
What the R95 scan checks
The scan puts two plain questions to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
- Does AI find you? Each tool is asked for the person's LinkedIn profile, and its answer is checked against their real link. Somebody with the same name does not count.
- Does AI name you? Each tool is asked who to know in the person's field and area, with the person's own name left out of the question.
The result is one score, a scorecard that breaks that score down area by area, and a list of fixes with the most important first. The scan takes a few minutes. The result stays in the member's Academy login. The LinkedIn profile counts for most of the score, because for most people it is the clearest public record of who they are and what they do. People in sales, or in other roles outside marketing, are scored on themselves alone. Their employer's website and company page are left out.
LadyBugz does not promise that AI will name anyone. The scan measures where a person stands on the day. A score can also move when the AI tools change, even if the person changed nothing.
Two plans for members who keep going
Members who want to keep improving can join one of two plans. Anyone who joins within 30 days of their scan has the R95 counted towards their first month, so a first Academy month costs R204 instead of R299.
- Academy, R299 a month or R3,289 a year (12 months for the price of 11). The score is checked every month on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Members get lessons, the six AI coaches and up to five content ideas a month (topics to post about, each with a short brief). They also get 150 credits a month, the units the Academy uses for tracking and extra checks, and email support.
- Growth, R899 a month or R9,889 a year. Everything in Academy, with the score checked every week in the member's main country. A second country is tracked side by side, for people who want to be found abroad too. Content ideas go up to 12 a month and credits to 460. Growth also adds a live one-hour group coaching session every month with Noleen Thompson and Mpho Mogorosi on what has changed and on questions members send in beforehand. Every session is recorded.
Both plans include a LinkedIn Profile Assessment.
