The Digital Assets and Sanctions Compliance Conference (DASC) hosted by Umbono Conferences and Events will be taking place on the 22 June at the Focus Rooms Modderfontein.
The intensive one day hybrid conference features over 22 speakers - from government, crypto and blockchain companies including AML and sanctions experts that will be addressing the most pressing developments in economic sanctions and the rapidly growing digital assets industry.
The conference programme will address topics such as lessons learned from recent sanctions enforcement, best opportunities for benchmarking compliance best practices, the regulating of crypto assets and what to expect on the long-term viability after a year of turbulence and coin collapses.
It also includes a robust panel discussion on the regulatory global update of crypto assets on a global scale followed by a dialogue on the impact of digital transformation towards blockchain technology application in banks.
Ruan Botha, Co-founder & Director of Compliance, Provenance will be part of the dialogue session. Botha said “The team from Provenance is looking forward to the discussions and sharing experience and knowledge in the international virtual assets compliance industry.”
Provenance is known for it’s in depth focus and expertise on virtual assets and offers clarity and strategic advice on regulatory risks including the critical component of AML/CFT. Their business model allows for fully customised services and solutions.
