Phase 2 of Cosmo Mall is set for a grand opening on 27 October 2022.

Located at the corner of Malibongwe and South African Drive, on route to Lanseria Airport, Cosmo Mall is entrenched within the community as the chosen service and convenience small regional mall, catering to surrounding captive areas including Cosmo City, Kya Sands, Diepsloot and Randburg residents.

The new extension will add a much needed +/-18,000m² of GLA, taking the centre up to approximately 40,000m².

The Centre prides itself on caring for its community.In 2016 a multi-million-rand pedestrian bridge was built over a very busy Malibongwe Drive to provide a safer and convenient pedestrian crossing, which is also cycle and wheelchair friendly.

The expansion of Cosmo Mall will see the addition of two new anchors - Shoprite and Boxer, complimenting the already existing anchor Pick ‘n Pay.This will cater for the needs of the expanding residential growth in the area.

With over 450 jobs created on site, the local work force has been involved with the brickwork and repainting of the existing mall.

Adding to the already established convenience factors of free parking and an onsite taxi rank for commuters, the expansion will increase the parking to 1500 bays, including undercover parking.
