Uber has moved over half a million people across SA

The longest Uber trip took place from Johannesburg to Durban and lasted approximately six hours over a distance of 580km. Meanwhile, The average estimated time of arrival in South Africa is four minutes. That’s equivalent to the time it takes to complete 200 sit-ups, take 64 breaths or show off your best Macarena moves. In 2013, Uber launched in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town. Fast forward to 2016, and they are in a total of five cities in South Africa.
