Two Guvon Hotels properties partner with Avis for conference comfort

Guvon Hotels announced a partnership with Avis where coach transfers are available from a corporation’s head office in the greater Gauteng area, to Umbhaba Lodge in Hazyview  or Askari Game Lodge in Magaliesburg, when booking a conference at either of these venues. Packages include accommodation, meals, conferencing, transport and toll fees.

According to Group Marketing Manager, Christa Badenhorst the partnership with Avis is a move to assist clients at a time when conference and events budgets are under scrutiny. “Both Guvon hotels and Avis are offering extremely competitive rates, which will enable corporates to conference in Hazyview or Magaliesburg, and still enjoy the Big 5 experience.”

“Keeping in mind that the average conference group we are targeting is about 60 people, this constitutes a massive saving in toll fees and petrol,” Badenhorst added. “We want to encourage conference delegates to use the traveling time for teambuilding purposes. Groups can enjoy an Amazing Race–styled itinerary on the way to the venue, with clues and rewards for delegates. Delegates arrive fresh and rested and ready to move into conference straight away.”
