Snow at Aquila Safari

It was a spectacularly cold morning on 02 July 2018 as snowflakes descended on the 10 000 hectare Big 5 conservancy for the first time in 10 years.

This rare occasion was enjoyed by all guests – who ran out to experience the snow (in many cases the first time in their lives) – as well as all Aquila staff.

And be sure to know that the animals had a blast! Sibahle Mtongana, professionally known as Siba Mtongana, a South African celebrity chef known as the host of the Cooking Channel show Siba's Table, also had her first snow experience (click here to view) at Aquila Private Game Reserve.
