with music from a bygone era, ‘Diamonds and Gold’ is an opus to Neil Diamond, Dire Straits, Joe Cocker, Fats Domino, Louis Armstrong, The Buggles, Kris Kristofferson and Wild Cherry.
Guaranteed to have the audience feeling nostalgic for sequined jumpsuits, gravelly voices and smooth blues licks, ‘Diamonds and Gold’ is a 2 man show, which is fronted by Lamy of ‘Cheers’ fame. As a singer and comedian, Lamy is fondly remembered by Durban’s music scene stalwarts from his Father Moustache days, as well as his stint as the front man of ‘Glam’.
Tickets are R60 per person for the show only and can be purchased from Maria at the reception desk at Club de Vie at Le Domaine. If you prefer to have a bite to eat before watching this foot tapping show, an a la carte menu will be available as well as Chef’s Special of the Night (approximately R29 a plate).
Vegetarian meals are also available. Dinner will be served from 18h30 to 19h45 and the show will begin at 20h00.
