Following the recent announcement by the Minister of Tourism, Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane, intra-provincial leisure travel will be permitted under the revised alert level 3 risk-adjusted strategy. This allows the public to travel for leisure purposes in their province of residence during the current level of lockdown, however, crossing provincial borders for leisure purposes remains prohibited at the time of this media release.
"We are grateful that the tourism sector is now open for both leisure and business travel, and this is certainly a step in the right direction for the entire sector during these unprecedented times. The health and safety of our workforce, and guests at each property are a primary concern for us all. We have implemented stringent protocols aligning with the requirements as set out by the Department of Tourism and we ask all of our guests to comply with these new regulations at the properties to ensure their health and safety at all times", said Kobus Tait, Managing Director of Forever Resorts.
The revised alert level 3 risk-adjusted strategy has also stated that, at this time, all public swimming pools including speed slides, super tubes and other water activities (excluding fishing and boating) will need to remain closed until regulations allow for the reopening of swimming pools.
As mentioned, the health and safety of staff and guests are a primary concern and each of our properties has undertaken a pledge providing valued guests with the assurance that we will continue to follow stringent operational processes to ens Guests will be required to comply with the following:
- Accept the COVID-19 protocols and regulations upon entry to the selected Forever Resort property.

We treat your family like our own and we look forward to welcoming back our valued guests", said Tait.
