Cape Town Used Cars Dealers Unite
Written by: MyPressportal Team Save to InstapaperIn ever more competitive times, an enterprising group of independent Cape Town used car dealers have united to help one another and improve their offering to the car buying public. They call themselves, the Blue Chip Dealers and are founded on a sound set of values that has made them successful in their own independent capacity as sellers of used cars in Cape Town:
- Honesty
- Reliability
- Integrity
The group exists by invitation only, thereby assuring consumers that they are dealing with a group of gentlemen who have been plying an honest, reliable trade for decades and can therefore be relied upon when it comes to buying a used car.
Eddie Nortier Senior from Nortier Motors in Worcester is a founding member and has been tirelessly working on this master plan for over four years, with 2012 marking the year that this group was officially formed. Eddie Snr says: "By doing business within this closed group of Cape Town car dealers, we are stronger and can offer better service to our customers. Our value system means that our clients can look forward not only to excellent service, but also the highest quality used cars".
Robby Roberts, one of the founding members who owns Autolink in Goodwood, has this to say: "One of the problems facing the smaller, independent dealers is the cost of advertising. Few can afford radio or television advertising, but with 20 dealers standing united as one group, the critical mass changes dramatically and all those things that the national corporate can afford, can be equalled or bettered by the Blue Chip Dealers Association. There are so many additional benefits that spring to mind – like an enormous array of stock to choose from, advice on a wide variety of matters between the owners of these dealerships, and probably one of the best spin-offs is having a lot more clout with suppliers and finance houses. This has been a life long dream for me. I have always wondered if a group of such fiercely independent entrepreneurs could actually hold hands and commit to a single high standard. It has now happened. I believe this group of dealers, who have already proven themselves as top notch businessmen, will rise to even greater heights. This is a win-win for everyone and of course, the Cape Town public get a better deal out of things as well as the Blue Chip Dealers website provides a one-stop source where the consumer has a high probability of finding not only the right vehicle in Cape Town, but is assured of buying from a reputable company as well".
Whilst the Blue Chip Dealers is a closed group, each dealership operates independently, just as they have done for years – which means that each dealership is privately owned and has its own unique personality and specialism. What this means for buyers of used cars in Cape Town is that great service and high quality cars come as standard – and peace of mind. Buying a used car can be daunting, especially if it’s through a private person and the car’s out of warranty. All Blue Chip Dealers vehicle’s come with a 1500 kilometre warranty as standard and all cars can be financed, most of them in-house. These really are top quality cars at great prices, no matter what your budget.
The Blue Chip Dealers website is supported and maintained by Auto Agent, the makers of the Pickacar.co.za network.
