The 4th Annual Techfest Expo, which will run on the 26th — 27th of June 2020 at Soweto Theatre, will feature(3) esports tournaments with a prize pool R50 000. The tournament prize pool will be allocated as follows;

· FIFA R20 000
· Tekken 7 R15 000
· PUBG Mobile (Solo) R15 000

“In keeping with our mission of #GoingBeyond, we have designed this event to be accessible to everyone and creating a tournament structure that is more inclusive,” said Perfect Zikhali, Co-Founder Techfest Expo, “For many people, this will be a first and being able to educate more people on the scale of the Esports industry is fantastic”.

Players will have an opportunity to qualify for the Techfest Expo Esports finals, through the Techfest Expo Roadshows, that will be staged in 6 different venues, including universities, colleges and community halls, throughout the Gauteng Province, beginning on the 11th of April 2020. The tournament participation details, including the locations, will be released on 2ndMarch 2020.
