Making Animation Accessible: Crowdfunding Campaign Launched to Support Underprivileged Young Artists
Submitted by: Derek WhiteheadSouth Africa - 28th February 2023- Toon Wiz has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to sponsor ten underprivileged young artists in the Toon Boom Startingpoint Courseware, an internationally recognized animation training program.
The goal of the campaign is to raise R100000 to cover the cost of training for ten selected artists. The funding campaign will run for 30 days and is hosted on the crowdfunding platform Jumpstarter Crowdfunding.
"We believe that everyone should have access to quality education and tools to pursue their passions and achieve their dreams," said Krish Moodley, founder of Toon Wiz. "Through this campaign, we aim to provide a unique opportunity for underprivileged young artists to receive top-notch animation training that they would not have otherwise been able to afford."
Donors who contribute to the campaign will receive a variety of rewards, including exclusive merchandise, behind-the-scenes access to the student's progress, and more.
"We are grateful for any support we receive, no matter how small," added Krish Moodley. "By donating to our campaign, you are not only helping to provide education and opportunities for young artists, but you are also contributing to a more diverse and inclusive animation industry."
