Burger King and Toei Animation to launch limited-time Dragon Ball Super menu in South Africa on September 14, 2026

Burger King® is collaborating with the legendary anime studio Toei Animation to bring the cosmic energy of the Dragon Ball franchise multiverse straight to guests in South Africa.
Celebrating the global popularity of the anime franchise “Dragon Ball Super,” Burger King® is launching a limited-time menu based on the episodic series and packed with bold flavours, immersive packaging and exclusive collectibles designed to delight fans of all ages.
Beginning 14 September 2026 at Burger King South Africa restaurants, while stocks last, guests can enjoy:
- Menu Innovation: the Super Saiyan Whopper® and Super Saiyan Crispy Chicken. Inspired by the legendary Super Saiyan energy of Dragon Ball Super, these bold and flavour-packed meals are designed to give guests a taste of the action while they enjoy their favourite Burger King® flavours.
- “Dragon Ball Super” Figurine: One of six exclusive collectible character figurines, including Goku, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta, Piccolo and Beerus.
- T-shirt: Exclusive artwork developed on the T-shirts for the “Dragon Ball Super” collaboration available with the purchase of a food meal.
“Dragon Ball Super” themed King Jr.® meal will be available at all Burger King® restaurants in South Africa, giving younger fans the opportunity to power up their play with a King Jr® Meal, plus a themed crown and one of six collectible figurines.
