Cavendish Square Promotes Culinary Delights With Campaign Spotlighting Food Favourites
Written by: Media Update Editor Save to Instapaper
From Thursday, 24 July to Thursday, 14 August, nearly 40 food and beverage stores across the centre will be showcased in a digital and print campaign aimed at reminding Capetonians why Cavendish Square remains a destination for memorable meals and quick bites, says Cavendish Square.
Celebrating Food Culture in Creative Ways
'Taste the Trend' introduces six distinct food moods that reflect the current appetite for bold, comforting and innovative meals. Shoppers will encounter these themes across the mall and online. From "toasty" meals that promise crispy comfort to "swicy" combinations of sweet and spicy, each category highlights trending tastes and clever menu pairings, says the destination.
Participating stores will be featured in a series of short-form videos and social content. The campaign has launched with local content creator and food personality, Clement Pedo, also referred to as "Chef Clem", who will be sharing his personal take on what makes Cavendish Square's food scene Instagram-worthy, adds the destination.
Shop, Snap and Save
Visitors who spend R150 or more at any food outlet during the campaign will receive free parking between 18:00 to 20:00 when presenting their receipt at the Concierge Desk on the first floor. To stand a chance of winning additional prizes, shoppers are encouraged to snap a picture of their meal and share it on social media, tagging @CavendishSquare and using the hashtag #CSTasteTheTrend, says the destination.
"Our dining offerings have grown into a significant part of the Cavendish Square experience," concludes Faizah Behardien, Centre Manager at Cavendish Square. "'Taste the Trend' is our way of inviting people to rediscover the variety, creativity and comfort available from our food stores. Whether it is a quick coffee, a sit-down lunch or an indulgent takeaway, the campaign celebrates the choice and quality that our centre is known and loved for."
