Bode Abifarin appointed Managing Director and CEO of MoMo Payment Service Bank (PSB)

Abifarin brings more than 23 years of experience across financial services, digital payments, fintech, consulting and business transformation to the MTN Nigeria subsidiary.
Her appointment comes as MoMo PSB seeks to accelerate growth, deepen financial inclusion and expand access to digital financial services across Nigeria.
Abifarin joins from Flutterwave, where she served as chief operating officer and helped scale the fintech across multiple markets.

Fintech leadership experience
Prior to joining MoMo PSB, Bode served as chief operating officer of Flutterwave, where she played a pivotal role in the company's growth. During her tenure, she led strategic expansion initiatives across multiple markets, established scalable operating models, strengthened regulatory engagement and supported the development of innovative payment solutions that expanded access to financial services for millions of customers.
Bode also spent 15 years at KPMG, rising to the position of associate director in management consulting, where she advised leading financial institutions and organisations across Africa on strategy, transformation, customer experience and business growth. Most recently, she founded Strata Advisory, a technology-focused advisory firm that helps businesses scale and achieve sustainable growth.

As chief executive officer, Bode will lead MoMo PSB's next phase of growth, focusing on expanding digital financial services, deepening financial inclusion, driving innovation and enhancing customer value in support of MTN Nigeria's ambition to deliver a leading digital ecosystem for Nigerians.

She serves on several boards and advisory committees focused on technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and financial services.
Her appointment reflects MoMo PSB’s commitment to strengthening its leadership as it advances financial inclusion, enhances customer value and accelerates its efforts to build a leading digital financial services platform.
