Care For Wild Celebrates Birth Of 29th Rhino Calf In Its Intensive Protection Zone

A rehabilitated rhino at Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary has given birth to a baby calf. According to Good Things Guy, Jemu was brought to Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary as an orphan at the age of four months in 2016 and in 2019, she entered the rewilding and release programme.

On January 8, Care for Wild announced the arrival of Jemu’s first calf. The calf is the 29th rhino to be born in Care for Wild’s Intensive Protection Zone, where successfully rehabilitated rhino orphans live freely in their natural habitats while remaining under 24/7 protection.
