Weltevrede Wine Estate is proud to announce its continued partnership as the wine sponsor of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) for the second consecutive year. This collaboration highlights Weltevrede’s dedication to supporting cultural events that celebrate South Africa’s rich heritage and vibrant arts scene.
The 22nd edition of the CTIJF, themed “Legacy Meets Tomorrow”, will take place on April 25 and 26 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The festival promises an exceptional lineup of both legendary and emerging jazz artists, offering a dynamic experience for music enthusiasts from around the globe.
This year festival-goers will have the opportunity to sip on the popular Philip Jonker Brut Cap Classique at any of the public bars. A refined Cap Classique crafted from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. This sparkling wine is characterized by its lively mousse, creamy biscuit notes, and a prolonged, elegant finish, making it a perfect complement to the festival’s sophisticated ambiance.
The VIP and Hospitality guests will be welcomed with a cold glass of Weltevrede Calcrete Chardonnay. An elegant, unwooded Chardonnay that offers a bright, vibrant lime-green hue and a palate bursting with citrus and minerality. Its clean, crisp finish makes it an ideal choice for pairing with a variety of gourmet dishes available at the festival.
Weltevrede Wine Estate’s participation in the CTIJF not only enhances the festival experience but also underscores its commitment to promoting South African wines on prestigious platforms. Festivalgoers are invited to visit the Weltevrede wine booth to enjoy these exceptional wines and immerse themselves in the celebration of music and culture.
