South African Airways Adds More Flights To Lagos Accra And São Paulo Ahead Of Festive Season Demand

SAA has announced the introduction of additional flights to regional and international routes to meet growing demand during the upcoming festive season.

Frequencies will be added on the following routes:

  • Johannesburg-Lagos: From October 6, SAA will introduce two additional flights on Mondays and Tuesdays, to offer six weekly flights.
  • Johannesburg-Accra: Effective October 1, the airline will introduce two additional flights on Wednesdays and Fridays, to offer six weekly flights.
  • Johannesburg-São Paulo: From December 10, SAA will introduce two additional flights on Wednesdays and Sundays, to offer five weekly flights.

These additional seasonal uplifts will operate until February 11, 2026.

“SAA is strengthening its network with more flights, more frequencies, and more opportunities to connect Africa to the world. We are aiming higher to serve our customers better this festive season,” said Tebogo Tsimane, SAA’s Chief Commercial Officer.
