Entry Deadline Extended For Prism Awards Highlighting The Human Factor In Powerful Communications
Written by: Media Update Editor Save to Instapaper
A reminder that this year's theme, "The Human Factor", underscores the vital role of authenticity, empathy and connection in communications. It's a call to spotlight campaigns and strategies that go beyond metrics, surpass performance, celebrate work that resonates — touching hearts, stirring minds, says the awards.
This extension is a chance to not only reflect on the stories that truly matter and share them with the industry, but also to consider entering the brand-new categories designed to honour innovation, elevate craft and embrace inclusion, adds the awards.
According to PRISA, the following categories have been added to the 2025 awards:
- B2B Excellence: Including Publishing, Internal Communications and PR.
- Digital Reputation Management: For leaders shaping online influence.
- Long-Term Reputation and Brand Management: Rewarding enduring strategy and trust-building.
- Sector-Specific Innovation: Covering industries like Alcohol, Beauty and Fashion, Agriculture, Manufacturing, and Property.
- Diversity and Inclusion in B2B: Championing equity and representation.
- CRM and FMCG Strategy: For those driving customer connection and brand love.
- Student and Academic Tracks: Elevating emerging voices and thought leadership.
- Revamped Publishing: Now assessed across three focused sections, including editorial environment, advertiser value and a showcase of top digital features. This category honours innovation in content delivery, ethical advertising integration and sustainable publishing practices.
The PRISMS Awards remain the benchmark for excellence in public relations and communication in South Africa. With the deadline extended, there's no better time for entrants to put their most meaningful work in the spotlight, inspire peers and set the standard for the year ahead. Outstanding stories deserve to be seen — and celebrated.
