cosnova Beauty says that the rebranding of Cosmetix South Africa to cosnova South Africa underscores the company's commitment to expanding its global footprint.
Thomas Causemann, General Manager at cosnova South Africa, says, “This move strengthens our presence in Africa and plays a pivotal role in the ongoing growth of our Catrice and essence brands worldwide.”
cosnova says that this strategic transformation will allow cosnova South Africa to enhance local operations, expand product offerings and connect with a broader base of consumers, delivering the high-quality beauty products that the company is renowned for globally.
A Focus on Innovation, Digital Transformation and Sustainability
Looking ahead, cosnova says it continues to innovate with a focus on retail modernisation and digital advancements.
In 2024, the company says it completed a comprehensive update of 25 000 metres of store counters, representing 70% of essence's global retail space.
For Catrice, a similar modernisation effort is planned for 2026. Additionally, the company's integration of AI technology, such as the launch of "cosnova GPT," highlights cosnova's commitment to digital transformation and enhancing customer experiences, says cosnova.
Sustainability remains a key pillar for cosnova, with the company continuing to implement environmentally friendly processes across its operations. In 2024, cosnova says it also reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by donating almost €4-million to various charitable causes and supporting initiatives like 'cosnova says NO,' which fights violence against women.
Growth With Purpose
"The success we've achieved in 2024 is not just about sales; it's about setting the stage for a future built on responsibility, innovation and consumer-centricity," says Javier González, Co-Founder and President of cosnova. "As we continue our journey of growth, we're proud to be building a company that positively impacts society and the environment while inspiring beauty lovers around the world."
With its rebranding in South Africa and record growth globally, cosnova concludes that it is poised for continued success, driving the mission to make high-quality beauty accessible to all and to make everyone feel more beautiful.
